Spread the love and it comes right back, right? That’s how it’s feeling everywhere you look during this Covid crisis. We’ve seen extraordinary levels of community spirit, and boy is it needed! No more so than on the front line. So when Holly from the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, contacted us to ask if WBC Bags for life could donate bags for front line worker packs, we were proud to play our part.
It’s payback time and a chance to show our appreciation for the mind-bogglingly brave men and women on the front line. Here’s a word from their communications officer.
Bags of thanks for front line workers
Thank you to WBC and the Bags for Life team for responding to our latest call out and providing tote bags. These bags went to nurses and midwives at both hospital sites (Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital). We used them for goody bags to celebrate International Day of the Nurse and International Day of the Midwife.
They included snacks such as chocolate and sweets, Dettol wipes and hand gel, body cream, essential oils and other cosmetics. Just some of the brands that donated items included Dettol, Cath Kidston, Oliver Bonas, Lindt and The Body Shop.
Support like this helps to ensure our staff have everything they need to provide the best possible care, and we are so grateful 💙
So this #InternationalNursesDay we want to thank our incredible nursing staff @ChelwestFT and West Middlesex University Hospital for the extraordinary care they show our patients every day. These goody bags are just a small token of our appreciation #ThankYouNHS.
