Rural Entrepreneur Live is held each year at Birmingham’s NEC. With over 300 exhibitors and attracting more than 6,000 visitors, it’s a trade exhibition and business event for all kinds of rural leisure and tourism businesses looking for ways to increase their revenue. Flying the WBC flag, I went along to find out more…
Arriving at the show, which is hyped as the UK’s only trade event dedicated to offering an amazing selection of ideas and resources through exhibition and conference; I noticed a strong focus on British countryside business innovation.
Well populated by land owners and entrepreneurs who own glamping sites, farm shops, holiday cottages and park attractions, this is a show that boasts huge and impressive exhibitions displays (pollen filtered eco pod anyone?).
Despite the visually stunning installations, the show still feels refreshingly open and uncluttered, allowing you to wander around and soak up inspiration hassle free.
With three shows in one, Rural Entrepreneur is a comprehensive and interactive event for those looking for commercial opportunities to support, diversify and grow their rural business.
Whether it be sustainable buildings for the hospitality industry, bespoke treehouses for weddings, alternative energy sources, or livestock to draw in a crowd (although sadly, no lama appearances this year, sob) you’ll find all that and more, under one roof.
