McQueen’s Savage Beauty most successful V & A exhibition

It’s officially the Victoria & Albert Museum’s most successful exhibition to date usurping even the immensely popular David Bowie exhibition of a few years ago. The Savage Beauty: Alexander McQueen exhibition has finally drawn to an end with a record 493,043 visitors flocking to see the clothes that put British fashion firmly on the world map for good.

Once again, WBC Bags for Life were super proud to have been asked to supply the Alexander McQueen tote show bags as part of the merchandising program for the show. Our team produced a canvas backpack, canvas tote bag and a heavy weight premium canvas bag, all of which featured McQueen’s world famous trademark heritage skull motif.

There’s no doubt that really great museums, galleries, visitor attractions and heritage sites deserve a really great bag to help celebrate them. And these days, with so many jute bags in use, that means a bag of exceptional quality and outstanding design to help you stand out from the crowd.

That’s why we’ve been pretty excited to see so many of Britain’s leading heritage sites, galleries and museums increasingly choosing WBC Bags for life to supply them with memorable keepsakes for visitors and gift shops – whether it’s bags for the British Science museum, English Heritage or giveaway totes for the Saatchi Gallery.

With new advances in digital printed bags  and bespoke design, we’re confident that if we made bags for you, you’d always be in the very best company. In fact, we think this ‘thumbs up’ letter we received from the V & A, speaks for itself…

“We couldn’t have done this without you! Thank you for being so accommodating to our numerous requests for more stock, for being so flexible with repeat deliveries and for turning around orders so quickly and efficiently – thank you!!” (Sarah – V & A Retail)
