WBC’s Christmas ordering guide 2015


Getting ready for Christmas doesn’t have to be the nightmare we brace ourselves for each year. As you begin preparing and organising yourself, here is a handy guide of our top tips for ordering Christmas gift packaging, along with deadlines and useful things to know.

How big is my box?

Put the tape measure down and save yourself time when trying to work out dimensions, pack sizes or how much fill to use in your empty Christmas hampers. We’ve done all the work for you.

Below each product is list of useful bits and bobs including relevant stock levels and product information that will help cut down your planning time. Need to know how much shred or fill to use in your Christmas boxes? Easy – you’ll find the approximate weight below each hamper box, already worked out for you.

What about samples?

Your first point of call is to use the nifty zoom functions on our website to help you see the quality and finish and detail of our Christmas gift packaging. If you still want to see a sample, call us – the last order dates for samples is Friday 4th December. How long have I got?

When it comes to ordering gift packaging at Christmas, the most important thing is not to leave everything till the last minute. Easier said than done, but we advise placing orders well in advance so you don’t miss out on your chosen options. During November and December we extend our opening hours so we’re always on hand to lend you a helping one.

December Opening Hours

8.30am – 6.30pm Monday – Friday
Closed for Christmas and New Year at 5pm Wednesday 23rd December
Re–open Monday 4th Jan at 9.00am

We will be despatching orders right up until the 23rd but for deliveries before Christmas day use this guide:

Mainland UK – Friday 18th December 2.00pm (please allow 3 days for delivery)
Highlands/Islands– Monday 14th December 2.00pm (please allow 7 days for delivery)

Last order dates for branding

Personalising hampers at Christmas is more popular than ever and can give your business a boost – especially as an add-on service you can offer local businesses.

Last Order date for branding WBC products for delivery before Christmas, including UK printed Jute & Cotton stock bags is Tuesday 15th December.

Placing your order

Our FAQ section has a comprehensive list of ways you can order with WBC, but without question, the easiest and straightforward is to order is online . It’s quick, efficient and secure all day, every day. Simply log in and register to ensure you have access to all our ‘Trade User’ benefits and prices. Plus, you’ll be able to keep track of your account, view past orders, and download statements and invoices. How simple is that?

Place orders before 2pm

We always aim to deliver orders within 3 days, and we always use a next day service within mainland UK. In order to ensure the swiftest possible delivery, ensure you place your order before 2.00pm. Phones are less busy in the morning and the chances are we’ll be able to get your Christmas gift packaging order out the door the same day!

Leave 3 working days for delivery during December

Unlike purchasing from Amazon, WBC hold a B2B account with our courier and they’re the only one who will take our ‘over-sized traffic’ – believe us, we’ve tried them all!

So we advise you to plan well ahead and leave at least 3 working days for delivery during the busy December period.  You can track your parcel online at myyodel.com using the tracking number found on your order confirmation. Any problems, give our team a call on 08000 85 85 95 and we will attempt to track it for you.


Unfortunately collections from our office premises is not possible. Our office and warehouse are no longer in the same location, and we operate a remote warehouse with no customer service centre. For more on this visit our FAQ section online
