Eat @ ours? With pleasure!

Eat @ ours

Nestled in the coastal community of Hastings, Eat @ Ours boasts two cafes (Alexandra Park and The Stade) and a catering & event facility annexed to their company.  At the helm of the business is Louise and Stephen Kelleher whose attention to detail with their food, space and retail display gives everyone something to notice.

Some weeks back Louise and Stephen received our new retail display and visual merchandising brochure, and flipped through the inspiration pages and started thinking about a new spring look for their business. From wholesale cakes stands, risers and POS signage to our popular modular display system – BRIX, the Kelleher’s were keen to make a splash! Take a look at what they’ve achieved.

We had the pleasure of meeting Louise and Stephen when they made an appointment to see our fixtures and fittings at our showroom in Herne Hill, south east London.  As a retail developer these face to face meetings and consultations are important to me, because they are often the first step in understanding a company a better, the company ethos, its point of difference and in my case the store design concept.

What I also learned was that they had strong commitment to sustainability, sourcing local and ethical trading and employment. Needless to say, not only does WBC celebrate these types of business practices, but we always feel and automatic kindred connection to them too.

BRIX is an entirely modular retail display system offering cafe, restaurants and markets complete versatility

Risers are used to augment the BRIX display units and provide increased height and depth

The Kelleher’s branded a sleek and tailored look to their café design by showcasing their products using our BRIX modular display  units.  Housed in uniformed sections and accented with our magnetic ticketing, not only did the café get a facelift, the Kelleher’s created a special offering and retail composition which has brought extra exuberance to their space, a no doubt an increase in footfall too.

Projects like Eat@Ours run near and dear to all of us here at WBC. Our business model has its roots firmly in independent high street retailers, up and down the country. And as a retail developer, nothing makes me happier than when I’m able to work with today’s retailers creating spaces with a special point of difference.
